Abbeyfield Germany
Abbeyfield Deutschland was founded in August 2008 by gerontologist Alfred T Hoffmann. He brought together local
interest groups in Kassel, Dauphetal, Bad Emstal and Bad Arolsen to form a national society.
A programme of 'Abbeyfield for Lunch' meetings has been running successfully for some time, and it is hoped that the
first Abbeyfield houses will be established in the near future.
