Abbeyfield Netherlands
 Abbeyfield development in the Netherlands came as a result of a friendship between Felix van Daelen and Noel Burdett. Through his connections with Age Concern in the Netherlands and his own enthusiasm and drive, Felix was responsible for the first house at Roosendaal and then a rapid growth to other locations throughout the country.
Felix has now retired but today there are seven Abbeyfield houses operating. The national society, now under the chairmanship of Hans Krosse has re-established the links between the societies, the national society, and AI. The team are now planning growth with additional houses and activities.
