Abbeyfield Scotland
 The Abbeyfield Society for Scotland (Abbeyfield Scotland) is affiliated to Abbeyfield UK and is a registered charity. It is a source of advice, support and training for Scottish societies. The society has a management committee of 14, elected at its Annual General Meeting. The committee members usually also sit on their local society management committee. Abbeyfield Scotland employs a small central staff.
In 2007 there are 56 Scottish Abbeyfield societies, which between them run 69 houses. There are 61 very sheltered houses and 8 care homes, providing accommodation for around 650 older people. A volunteer management committee oversees the running of each Society.
The Future
Some of the progressive Scottish societies are working on integrated care and supported living projects.
